Bangalore To Win the Match, 1.70
The Kolkata Knight Rider and the Bangalore Royal Challengers are prepared to put themselves into the competition in the Sheik Zayed Stadium in match No. 31 of the 2021 Indian Premier League. At halfway rankings the Knights captained by Eoin Morgan are struggling at the bottom, and they must win the game to come back into the tournament. In addition, the departure of Pat Cummins from the competition has somewhat stunned them. RCB on the other hand has made some really good purchases. For many reasons, several players departed from the event. But they were able to sneak in important substitutes like the international cricketer, Wanindu Hasaranga from Sri Lanka. At its last encounter, RCB easily hammered the Knight Riders by 38 runs. This match is a new start for all sides because some players from abroad are not present and teams now play at an entirely different location. The points in the prior matches nevertheless still count and that’s the disadvantage of KKR.
The Abu Dhabi pitch is typically a great batting surface. In the 2020 IPL, it was quite simple for chasing down the targets. The matches were excellent even in PSL 2021. The ideal option for both sides should be batting second. The records suggest that it would be a high-scoring game.
Nearly all teams have had problems with player unavailability and KKR is no exception. Pat Cummins will not be available for the rest and that is a heavy setback. Pat Cummins was not only the leading KKR wicket-taker but was also the only one to score with a strike rate over 150. His absence would certainly leave an impression and we do not think that Tim Southee (his substitution) is especially suitable to the UAE settings. A significant concern has been the KKR batting as Shubman Gill and Eoin Morgan didn’t seem to click as Andre Russell fought hard to get going but he is in good shape from the CPL. The other high-ranking players are Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, and Dinesh Karthik. The primary KKR weapons in the UAE should be Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy, although Lockie Ferguson might also be included. Ferguson is one of the world’s top T20 bowlers with great rhythm and exquisite slower delivery.
With the Virat Kohli most likely to come with him on the top, Devdutt Padikkal has added the genuine quality batting solution. In the floating option, RCB used number three and pushed up a few pinch hitters. The fourth is Glenn Maxwell, followed by AB de Villiers. It’s a fantastic batting line-up, and RCB may select some others for the remaining important spots. We believe that Mohammed Azharuddeen may battle with number 6, or that Kyle Jamieson could keep playing this role. Wanindu Hasaranga can bat, too, which gives RCB an all-round choice. The 11 played with the spots remaining open to one to two more bowling group members will surely feature Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal.

The side who wins the toss will generally choose to bat second. The pitch will probably alter very little and the outfield is also pretty rapid. Six of Abu Dhabi’s last seven matches in IPL 2020 were won by the teams batting second.
We are backing the Royal Challengers to win this game. It has a far superior batting order, and while we think the RCB has taken on good signings that will strengthen it. They have made some really good additions to the side as well. Bet on RCB to win.
