The Perth Scorchers have been the most dominant side of the tournament. They have a formidable side with quality players in all the departments. Ashton Turner has handled the season admirably. They won 11 of their 14 games, finishing far and away at the top of the points standings. The team won their final league encounter against the Brisbane Heat by a score of 6 wickets. They had won both games against the Sydney Sixers earlier in the season, and Turner would like his team to take inspiration from those victories and advance to the final with a strong performance here. Captain Ashton Turner moves down the lineup to deliver some powerful strikes at the finish. The best part about the Scorchers side is that, they were never over reliant on any particular player, rather they had different performers throughout the tournament to deliver match winning performances. 

Kurt Patterson and Josh Inglis have both performed well, and the pair will need to put up a respectable first wicket partnership against the Sixers’ strong bowling attack. With the return of Mitchell Marsh and Colin Munro, the top order has been reinforced, and both these batters are able to induce fear in the minds of opposition players. The team would also rely on Ashton Turner, Aaron Hardie, and Ashton Agar to score fast runs at the finish like they have done for the most part of the tournament. The Scorchers will be hoping for some match winning bowling performances from their strike bowlers Jason Behrendorff and Matthew Kelly.Andrew Tye bowled weak lines in the previous game, and the team expects a stronger performance from him now. Agar was excellent with his line and length, and he led a solid bowling assault that included Peter Hatzoglou and Mitchell Marsh. Overall, the Perth Scorchers are a powerful team with no obvious weaknesses.
