Matt Renshaw and Matthew Short are expected to get off to a solid start in this game. Middle order was the biggest worry for the Adelaide Strikers. Travis Head’s comeback has enhanced the middle order, and he will aim to add runs with Jake Weatherald, Ian Cockbain, and Jonathan Wells. Alex Carey will also return along with Travis Head after a successful Ashes series. Having Alex Carey and Thomas Kelly in the side, the side has great power down the order, and the duo would want to add fast runs. They faced this huge defeat against the Sars to see them post the highest ever total in a Big Bash game. Adding a cherry on the top, Maxwell broke the record of his fellow teammate Marcus Stoinis who was at the non striker’s end, to become the better with the highest individual score in the history of the tournament.  The Hurricanes will have to recover from this shocking setback and perform well over here. Wade will be mindful of the Strikers’ recent form and will expect a strong performance from his team. McDermott is the only player to be consistent for this team. Ben McDermott has been the leading scorer this year, and he will like to get the team off to a strong start today, starting with Caleb Jewell. With Jordan Thompson, D’Arcy Short, and Wade in strong form, the batting lineup is dangerous, and runs can be anticipated from their batting. Lower the lineup, the team would wish to see significant batting from Peter Handscomb and Tim David. They have the capability to become two excellent finishers of the limited overs format.
